The Inaugural South Notts Real Ale Festival is taking place on 4th - 6th May 2012 at Nottingham Moderns Rugby Club.
Set in the Clubhouse, the festival will showcase around 40 of Nottinghamshire's and surrounding areas finest real ales and ciders as well as food and live entertainment. The festival is a non-profit making event, with all profits being donated to the development of the Moderns Clubhouse and children's charity C.R.Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young). *
The festival gets under way at midday on Friday 4th May with a pre-event 'drinkers' session. This is followed by an exclusive all-ticket event from 6pm until midnight (SOLD OUT), with live music from 'Splinter Cell', widely regarded as West Bridgford's best band.
The festival's family atmosphere continues from midday on Saturday 5th May with family games, the chance to watch a charity rugby match between Moderns RFC Veterans and the C.R.Y charity side 'Pinks' and more live music in the evening from 'Terminal 5 Experience'. The festival continues at midday on Sunday 6th May with the final opportunity to enjoy the ales and cider's on offer.
